Age Old Wisdom

” In your 20’s, you think you own the world and know everything. Then you’re in your 30’s, you stumbled, hit yourself hard on concrete and eventually discovered – you don’t know crap, you don’t know shit! “

    i’m just nearing 30 so I can’t relate. LOL.

but you are right, when you are young you feel like you have complete control of things in your life, only to realize that there are many other aspects you just can’t even make an influence on.

what i’ve learned through the years is that my happiness can’t be from having or possessing things, but in doing—in the experiences with people who mean to me.

and you said you’re not 30 yet? heavens, you’re so wise my friend! and you’re right, happiness can’t be from having or possessing things. it’s in the relationships we make with others and with ourselves, dba?
