Lunch With Miss Elle

At first it was Caramel Macchiato waiting for me on my office desk yesterday morning, and then an email inviting me to have lunch with her at the nearby Sushi Restaurant. Hmmm, what is going on here?

Needless to say, I accepted the invitation and had lunch with my boss, Miss Elle. This is the first time I’m going out with her and it’s sort of uncomfy at first. But soon as we gave each other a big warm hug and had a wacky conversation. All the unpleasantries were gone in an instant.

Lunch was great and we had a fabulous time reminiscing our verbal spats at work. We were laughing out loud and was absolutely amused of our foolishness. And after a good hour of fun, we got up from our seats, gave each other another hug and said our thank you’s. It sure is nice to finally break that barrier between us, and calling each other friends

Sounds like a good start. I was very good friends with my boss and I feel that it’s actually nice to go back to your lives as social people after work. The food looks devilishly delish!

Hello Nell . . . sounds like a wonderful beginning between you and your boss. I’m happy for both of you! Speaking of Japanese Food and Alameda, have you gone to Sushi House across from the beach in Alameda. Also, did you go to Beverly’s to buy the beads. Remember, I’m nosey! 😉 Well, Alameda Towne Centre is my hang-out. Ha! Ha! One last thing before I forget . . . I know you know Ray’s Sushi and there’s that other one on Hesperian Blvd. called Tomoguchi’s, ba? See, I’m always thinking of food! Let’s do sushi soon! 🙂

hello lulu. i am really hoping that this good relationship i have with my boss right now would flourish para wala na akong kinaiinisan. dba?

and how did you know that i went to beverly’s? my oh my, are you psychic my dear? hehehe, i did went there to look at some of there stuff and even bought some fabrics to make bed covers for the cats. and eventually drove to park street to see the bead selections at this specialty store. and i wasn’t too happy na nalagasan ako almost seventy bucks, hahahaha! ayan kasi, napamahal tuloy, hehehe.

i’m starting to think that we’re sisters in food and restos, hahahah. have you been to ray’s sushi? i like ray’s better than tomaguchi’s (the one by toys r us near sizzlers), cause kilala na kaming mga magkaka office mates doon and somehow they know what i’d like to order. halata bang patron? hahahaha! besides that tomaguchi’s a bit pricey for my wallet. sensya na at nagtitipid ang beauty ko, hehehe.

so, ray’s sushi tayo one of these days 😉

Nell, you forgot one thing . . . we’re “sisters” when it comes to stores too! I know exactly the bead store you are talking about on Park Street in Alameda, called “Bead Inspirations”. It’s like on the corner next door to that Chinese Buffet resto called Ghengis Khan. Am I good or what! 😉 Sabi ko sa yo when it comes to “shopping” (for anything) I know all within a 100 mile radius. Ha! Ha! Like you, I prefer Ray’s Sushi over Tomaguchi’s. My bro had introduced us to Ray’s Sushi years ago. Sige, we’ll do Ray’s Sushi then at another time and we’ll do Sushi House in Alameda. We can browse around Beverly’s. Ok … now to get on with the “real” post. I do hope your relationship with your boss will be a very positive one! All the best to you 😉

hahaha, oo nga lulu. looks like your my long lost but now found sister, hahaha! you really know your shops from a hundred mile radius or even more. anong laban ng internet at mall map sayo, hehehe. bead inspiration on park, that’s where i was not too long ago. hunting for more beads, yet again. sige at planuhin natin ang ray’s sushi or sushi house meet up natin. and then we’ll explore the malls for a delightful shopping experience, hahaha.

thanks so much for your comment, lulu. i am crossing my fingers that this new friendship and renewed working relationship with miss elle would turn our real well. para naman mabawasan ang drama sa buhay ko, dba? have a wonderful week end my dear and start writing that letter for jp. love yah lots, mwaaah
