Missed Connections

Fantasies fade,

Plans unravel,

Things change,

And I grieve for the past,

As if it were a fallen friend.

buti na lang hindi Swarovski yung pendant, or else scattered sya sa floor to pieces at ikaw din ang maglilinis.

it’s always nice to think of someone whom you cared/loved about even if they are already dead just for the halloween sakes.

thank heavens at charms lang sya at hindi maliliit na beads crystals, hehehe!

the poem is for a friend in college. he passed away not too long ago and lately ko lang nalaman. he was one nice guy, a real good friend and buddy. wish i’ve known earlier and made attempts to get a hold of him before he even expired. i just have so many regrets!

couple years back, he even gave me a tribal necklace from one of his surfing trips and wore it to this time. it’s now a priceless keepsake of our wonderful friendship!

    how i miss HIM …

First love never dies, true. Just think of the beautiful things you guys shared, that way you’ll see rainbows above the horizons.

    Uy…

thanks k! you’re right, i have to look at the brighter side. we had a wonderful friendship, and that is something. dba? bigla kong naalala yong saying na:

if God puts a tear in your eyes, is because He wanted you to see the rainbow in the sky.

awww. sorry to hear that nell. some things in life are meant to be fleeting moments lang. then you’ll just have to keep them in your memory. your friend is lucky to be remembered by people like you 🙂

    happy weekend too! 🙂
