Knowing Yourself

The world always makes sure that you cannot fool yourself for long about who you really think you are, by showing you what truly matters to you. How you react to people and situations, especially when challenges arise, is the best indicator of how deeply you know yourself. Nobody can tell you who you are! It does not  even require realization, since you already are who you are and that requires no belief from the world around you.

thanks, cee cee! where do i get them from? from my lifes experience, people i get to meet and know along the way, from friends, from inspirational books, poetry etc. they’re all over the place, friend. you just have to look beyond the skin and get much deeper. hugs and kisses to you, too.

Knowing thyself is important so that we don’t get tossed left and right without any direction. Yes I agree that it is important for us to draw a line of what’s yes and no for us and make people feel if they cross that boundary !

I, too love your choice of photo. I got mine from flickr and eversince I started blogging, my posts would start with a picture+writing+music=awesome. I think that’s who I am really, I want things in-order, I observed what’s on my surroundings to create a relationship with my mind for myself with myself.

As for the picture: this is my kind of dreamhouse, by the sea, in the sea with the sea. Serenity is the exact term.

hello bw! i myself was a certified push over before. back then, i didn’t have any idea who i really am. but now that i know myself better, i have the balls to say yes or no. and that saying no (sometimes) is not such a bad thing or something we should feel bad about. like you said, we need to draw the line somewhere!

thank you, K! words, music and photographs have a way of inspiring people and bringing out the best in them. your awareness of your surroundings and the people around you, is one good trait not everyone has. not everyone can be empathic these days like you.

as for the pic. the above image was taken from a hotel situated along the coast. real nice and quiet, i felt like i want to stay there forever. hahaha!

thanks for the kind comment and God bless =)

thank you, roma! thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comment. glad you like my entry of knowing yourself and the photos (although i can’t take credit for all of them. some are mine, some are taken by friends). sometimes we hide behind pretensions so that people would like us. but then who are fooling, right? life is short and it shouldn’t be spent doing bee-ess!

thanks again and God bless =)
