I’ve been keeping my mouth shut since that incident last Friday. I had this huge argument with my superior and it turned into a much awaited confrontation. There was no physical contact (Wish there was, I’m kidding), but I didn’t hold out on my opinions. I was mad, but still kept my voice low. I just wanted to point out her misjudgement and that I had enough of her alibis. It was unfortunate, she had to relish a bit of my irateness. But though I was infuriated and ready to knock her off, I kept everything decorous. How I did it? I don’t know. Must be an angel watching over me. Seriously, it really is about time someone said something to her. Someone needs to make her realize that not all people are dumb and would settle for her unschooled statements. Just too bad, it was me who made her see that.
Anyhow, I’m counting my days at work now. I’m expecting either getting fired or getting laid off. Rumor has it, that I probably will. But there are coworkers and fellow managers that said, a disciplinary action maybe considered rather than getting fired. My answer to that, Whatever! No formal complaint has been filed againts me yet. But I certainly did one on her and attached a copy of a doctors note and a print out of the U.S. Labor Code along with it. What started as a simple calling in sick is about to turn into dispute that would probably be raised to the Board of Directors or NOT. We’ll see …
