Mom has to work over the week end, so we had to make some changes to the plan. We’re celebrating Mothers Day, hours early. We surprised our dear mother with a karaoke party! Invited a couple of her friends and selected family members (who can sing). She had so much fun and sang the whole night long. [ We knew our Mom’s weakness is singing… ] By midnight, we’re all dead tired with our vocal chords hurting. Hahaha!
Happy Mothers Day Mom! You’re the sweetest gift a son could ever have. May we have more years spent in love, peace and harmony!
Surplus: Something I red (by Washington Irving), it reminded me so much of my mother:
” A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. “
