Light Will Soon Shine
I was about to write something about my three day week end. But soon as I found out about Weng’s dearest mother. I couldn’t help but set my personal blogging aside and say a prayer for her and her family (and my own mother). Weng and I share the same battle, and with her mom and mine in mind. I offer this prayer of healing, protection, love and strength. Hang in there my friend, light will soon shine upon us…
Dear Jesus, Healer of the Sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. Dearest Comforter of the Troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servants to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your holy will and know that whatsoever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen…

nell, thank you so much for this wonderful prayer
there are so many things that our moms share other than “BC”. they are both strong and courageous and well, hard headed… too hard headed to be defeated. that’s girl power for you.
it’s so surreal, this blogosphere. i’m so glad we found each other. i’m more glad that i found a friend in you. love you, nell! hugs and kisses, mmmwah!
Pinaiyak niyo naman ako!
More than sheer sentimentality, though, please rest assured that my family and I are “officially enlisted” as “prayer warriors” for the battle with the Big C that you and your courageous moms are bravely facing.
Hang in there, you two… we are definitely with you in this fight! Take care and God bless.

ps. pssst, read mo comment mo sa trackback ni weng, dali! hehehe…
Nell, what a beautiful prayer. I guess this is something we all can use. I like the part that says “grant us the grace to acknowledge your holy will and know that whatsoever you do, you do for the love of us.”
All we can do is lift everything to God and TRUST that He knows what is best for all of us.
