Great Love

There is a love that begins in the head, and goes down to the heart, and grows slowly; but it lasts till death, and asks less than it gives. There is another love, that blots out wisdom, that is sweet with the sweetness of life and hitter with the bitterness of death, lasting for an hour, but it is worth having lived a whole life for that hour.

So, to my dearly departed Lolo and my beloved Lola. Cheers to your undying love and devotion…

    thanks keith. we called our lola last night to extend our anniversary greetings and she cried the whole time. to this day, i guess she still misses him. hay naku, undying love talaga! how i wish i was there beside her to give her a big hug :(

    hello meeya, sana ako rin eh may great love na parating. hahahah! umasa pa ba raw? pero pwede na rin sa akin ang mga kilig moments paminsan minsan. masaya na ako don, hehehe. and speaking of my grandparents, it would have been 63 years of marriage for them. if only lolo was still alive. pero sabi nga ni lola, ang pagmamahalan raw nila eh walang hangganan. ay susme, nilalanggam ako sa sweetness. hahahah :D

    uuuy, naalala ko tuloy ang aking daddy maciong at nanay conching. :) mga maternal grandparents ko. alam mo ba, nakapagcelebrate pa ang mga lola’t lolo ko ng 65th wedding anniversary nila noong 1993. then my lolo passed away in 1995. ang daming beses nilang kinasal! 25th, 50th, 60th at 65th! diamond wedding anniversary! whew! maaga kasi nagsipag-asawa. hahaha! cheers to great love! and like i told you before, yours will come! maalala mo ako when he finally shows up. ;) hugs!


    thanks weng, sana nga po eh dumating na si prince charming. heheheh! my lolo and lola had there silver and golden wedding as well, tapos nagrerenew sila ng vows every five years. they were the sweetest couples i know, yong tipong pinagsisilbihan nila ang isat isa. and here’s my lolo who tirelessly writes love letters for my lola. tapos si lola naman eh asikasong asikaso nya si lolo simula sa damit na susuotin, hanggang sa pagkain. ang sweet noh? how i wish i could find great love, like our grandparents. cheers to our lolo’s and lola’s, mwaaah :D
